1. DTC B1E0A[31] description
The tire air pressure sensor is an integrated structure with the air valve and installed to each tire. Each tire air pressure sensor has its own ID and the IDs for the 4 tires are registered in the wireless access module. The tire air pressure sensor sends the sensor ID, tire air pressure, tire temperature, wheel rotation status data, and sensor status data to the wireless access module through radio waves. The wireless access module monitors each tire air pressure based on the data received from the tire air pressure sensor. If the wireless access module cannot receive the data from the left front tire air pressure sensor, the DTC is set.
Note
- If the ECM or TCM rewriting is performed with a scan tool, the wireless access module may set DTC B1E0A[31]. In this case, after clearing DTC B1E0A[31] with a scan tool, check that the TPMS warning light is turned OFF and DTC B1E0A[31] is cleared.
2. Condition for setting DTC B1E0A[31]
- The wireless access module detects that the data cannot be received from the left front tire air pressure sensor for an accumulated time of 9 minutes and 5 seconds or more while the vehicle is driven at a speed of 30 km/h {19 mph} or more.
3. Action taken when DTC B1E0A[31] sets
- The TPMS warning light illuminates after flashing for 63 seconds.
