DTC B170B[0A] External Buzzer Output Circuit Failure (Wireless Access Module (Hi-version [Passive Entry and Start System]))

1. DTC B170B[0A] description

The external buzzer is installed in the engine room. The wireless access module activates the external buzzer to respond to door locking/unlocking, or to warn of a detected passive entry and start system malfunction. If the wireless access module detects a malfunction in the external buzzer control circuit, the DTC is set.

2. Condition for setting DTC B170B[0A]

  • The wireless access module detects a malfunction in the external buzzer control circuit.

3. Action taken when DTC B170B[0A] sets

  • The wireless access module stops the external buzzer output.
