DTC B1E01[04] Ignition1 Internal Circuit Failure (Wireless Access Module (Hi-version [Passive Entry and Start System]))

1. DTC B1E01[04] description

The wireless access module outputs IG1 relay drive voltage if the power mode is switched to ON by operating the engine start/stop button. If the IG1 relay is turned ON, voltage from the battery is supplied to the IG1 circuit. If the wireless access module detects a malfunction in the IG1 relay control circuit, the DTC is set.

Note

  • Although this DTC is set, the engine can be started using emergency starting.

2. Condition for setting DTC B1E01[04]

  • The wireless access module detects a malfunction in the IG1 circuit.

3. Action taken when DTC B1E01[04] sets

  • The lock control of the electric steering lock is inhibited.

When the engine start/stop button is pressed:

  • The key monitor warning light illuminates for 10 seconds.
  • POWER MANAGEMENT SYSTEM ERROR will be displayed on the multi-information display for 10 seconds.
  • The buzzer built into the instrument panel cluster will sound 3 times.

When the power mode is ON and there is a current failure:

  • The key monitor warning light illuminates.
