DTC U0151[00] Lost Communication With SRS Control Module (Information Module)

1. DTC U0151[00] description

The information module and the SRS control unit communicate information with each other using the CAN bus. The information module determines whether CAN messages are constantly flowing from the SRS control unit. If the information module cannot receive CAN messages from the SRS control unit, the DTC is set.

2. Condition for setting DTC U0151[00]

Condition for running the DTC

  • The ignition switch is ON.
  • The ignition voltage is 10 V or more.

Condition for setting the DTC

  • The information module detects that CAN messages from the SRS control unit are not received for 5 seconds or more.
