The ECM communicates with the wireless access module and performs the immobilizer function. The ECM sends a request signal to the wireless access module. The ECM receives a response signal from the wireless access module. Both communication signals are sent and received via the CAN communication circuit. If the ECM receives a signal, which is outside the specifications, from the wireless access module, the DTC is set.
