DTC P065A[09] Generator Fail (IBS (4JJ3 with DPD))

1. DTC P065A[09] description

The battery sensor monitors the voltage from the generator and verifies that it is within the appropriate range. If generator malfunctions such as an excessively high or low voltage for the vehicle operating conditions are detected, the DTC is set.

2. Condition for setting DTC P065A[09]

Condition for setting the DTC

  • An abnormal generator condition is detected.

3. Action taken when DTC P065A[09] sets

  • Illuminate the generator warning light.
  • Inhibit the charge control.
