1. DTC P0729 description
The clutch control solenoid (SL1, SL2, SL3, SL4) and shift solenoid are installed on the valve body assembly. The TCM activates each solenoid in order to switch the ATF oil path, and thereby controls oil pressure to the clutch and brake to shift the gear position. The TCM selects the optimum gear position based on input signals of the output speed, selector lever position, accelerator pedal position, etc. If the TCM detects that the previously calculated gear ratio is different from the commanded gear position, the DTC is set.
2. Condition for setting DTC P0729
Condition for running the DTC
- The output speed is 60 rpm or more.
- The vehicle is running in the D range.
- The current gear position is 6th.
