DTC B130B[11] Assistant Door Request Switch Circuit Short to Ground (Wireless Access Module (Hi-version [Passive Entry and Start System]))

1. DTC B130B[11] description

The request switch is installed to the outside handle. Pressing the request switch while carrying the electronic key can lock or unlock the doors. The request switch can be activated when the electronic key is within approximately 80 cm from the outside handle. If the wireless access module detects a short to ground in the passenger side request switch signal circuit, the DTC is set.

2. Condition for setting DTC B130B[11]

  • The wireless access module detects a short to ground in the passenger side request switch signal circuit for 3 minutes or more.

3. Action taken when DTC B130B[11] sets

When the engine start/stop button is pressed:

  • The key monitor warning light illuminates for 10 seconds.
  • CHECK SYSTEM will be displayed on the multi-information display for 10 seconds.
  • The buzzer built into the instrument panel cluster will sound 3 times.

When the power mode is ON and there is a current failure:

  • The key monitor warning light illuminates.

When door locking/unlocking is requested:

  • The key monitor warning light illuminates for 10 seconds.
  • CHECK SYSTEM will be displayed on the multi-information display for 10 seconds.
  • The external buzzer will sound for 3 seconds.
