DTC U2001[88] LIN Communication (IBS (4JJ3 with DPD))

1. DTC U2001[88] description

The battery sensor controls charge voltage of the generator via LIN communication. If a malfunction is found in the LIN communication circuit and a status in which communication cannot be established is detected, the DTC is set.

2. Condition for setting DTC U2001[88]

Condition for setting the DTC

  • The LIN Bus OFF status is detected for 10 seconds or more.

3. Action taken when DTC U2001[88] sets

  • Illuminate the generator warning light.
  • Inhibit the charge control.
