The transfer actuator is installed to the transfer and performs switching between two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive, and between High and Low using one actuator. The transfer motor position sensor is built into the transfer actuator. The 2-4 switch and neutral switch are installed to the transfer body. The TCCM recognizes the current transfer driving conditions based on the combinations of the signals from the transfer motor position sensor, 2-4 switch, and neutral switch. When the transfer actuator operation has been completed and the transfer motor position sensor input is 4H or 4L, if it is detected that the 2-4 switch is ON, this DTC is set.
