DTC U0126[00] Lost Communication With Steering Angle Sensor Module (Information Module)

1. DTC U0126[00] description

The information module and the steering angle sensor communicate information with each other using the CAN bus. The information module determines whether CAN messages are constantly flowing from the steering angle sensor. If the information module cannot receive CAN messages from the steering angle sensor, the DTC is set.

2. Condition for setting DTC U0126[00]

Condition for running the DTC

  • The ignition switch is ON.
  • The ignition voltage is 10 V or more.

Condition for setting the DTC

  • The information module detects that CAN messages from the steering angle sensor are not received for 5 seconds or more.
