DTC P1607 (Flash Code 97) Solenoid Cut Malfunction (Main or Sub solenoid cut line) (AWR6B45)

1. DTC P1607 description

The solenoid cut terminal is built into the TCM. The TCM cuts the command current to each solenoid via signals from the main and sub-CPU. When the ignition switch is turned OFF, the TCM performs the solenoid cut request test.

2. Condition for setting DTC P1607

Condition for running the DTC

The ignition switch is turned from ON to OFF.

Condition for setting the DTC

The TCM detects a malfunction in either main solenoid cut terminal or sub solenoid cut terminal.

3. Action taken when DTC P1607 sets

The TCM flashes the check trans warning light. Refer to Action taken when DTC sets - Type C.
