DTC U0129[00] Lost Communication With Brake System Control Module (Information Module)

1. DTC U0129[00] description

The information module and EHCU communicate with each other using the CAN bus. The information module determines whether CAN messages are constantly flowing from the EHCU. The information module sets the DTC if CAN messages from the EHCU cannot be received.

2. Condition for setting DTC U0129[00]

Condition for running the DTC

  • The ignition switch is ON.
  • The ignition voltage is 10 V or more.

Condition for setting the DTC

  • The information module detects that CAN messages from the EHCU are not received for 5 seconds or more.
