DTC B1726[15] Indicator Light (Green) Connection Malfunction (Open Error/Power Supply Short Error) (eCall unit)

1. DTC B1726[15] description

The indicator light is integrated with the SOS button and is installed to the overhead console. When the ignition switch is turned ON, the indicator light illuminates in red for 3 to 4 seconds, it illuminates in green for approximately 4 seconds, and then it turns OFF. At this time, the indicator light remains ON in red if there is a malfunction in the system. The indicator light flashes in green during an emergency call and illuminates in green during a voice call. If the eCall unit detects a malfunction in the indicator light (green) power supply circuit, the DTC is set.

2. Condition for setting DTC B1726[15]

Condition for running the DTC

  • The ignition switch is ON.

Condition for setting the DTC

  • The eCall unit detects an open circuit or a short to the power supply in the indicator light (green) power supply circuit.

3. Action taken when DTC B1726[15] sets

  • An alarm sounds from the speaker.
  • Current and past failures are set.
