DTC B1E23[9A] GNSS Receiver Connection Malfunction (eCall unit)

1. DTC B1E23[9A] description

A GNSS receiver is built into the eCall unit. The eCall unit receives GNSS signals via the GNSS antenna. If the eCall unit detects a malfunction in the built-in GNSS receiver, the DTC is set.

2. Condition for setting DTC B1E23[9A]

Condition for running the DTC

  • The ignition switch is ON.

Condition for setting the DTC

Any of the following conditions are met:

  • The eCall unit detects that GNSS signals cannot be received for 60 seconds or more.
  • The eCall unit detects a malfunction in the received GNSS signals for 60 seconds or more.

3. Action taken when DTC B1E23[9A] sets

  • The indicator light (red) illuminates.
  • An alarm sounds from the speaker.
  • Current and past failures are set.
