DTC C1726[11] Right Head Light (Low Beam) Output Circuit Short to Ground (BCM)

1. DTC C1726[11] description

The BCM controls the headlight output circuit according to the signal input from the light control switch and illuminates the headlight. If the BCM detects a malfunction in the headlight (right) low beam output circuit, the DTC is set.

2. Condition for setting DTC C1726[11]

Condition for running the DTC

The BCM commands the headlight (right) low beam ON.

Condition for setting the DTC

Any of the following conditions are met:

The BCM detects a short to ground in the headlight (right) low beam output circuit for 2.5 seconds or more.
The BCM detects an overloading to the headlight (right) low beam output circuit for 2 seconds or more.

3. Action taken when DTC C1726[11] sets

For models with LED headlights, the LED headlight warning light illuminates.
For models with MID, RH Headlight failure is displayed.
The output of the headlight (right) low beam is stopped until the next command is given.
Current and past failures are set.
