DTC C1727[13] Left Head Light (Low Beam) Output Circuit Open (BCM)

1. DTC C1727[13] description

The BCM controls the headlight output circuit according to the signal input from the light control switch and illuminates the headlight. If the BCM detects a malfunction in the headlight (left) low beam output circuit, the DTC is set.

2. Condition for setting DTC C1727[13]

Condition for running the DTC

The BCM commands the headlight (left) low beam ON.

Condition for setting the DTC

The BCM detects an open circuit in the headlight (left) low beam output circuit for 2 seconds or more.

3. Action taken when DTC C1727[13] sets

For models with MID, LH Headlight failure is displayed.
The output of the headlight (left) low beam is stopped.
Current and past failures are set.
