1. DTC C1728[96] description
The BCM monitors the illumination status of the LED headlight. When the LED headlight detects any abnormal conditions, it sends the error signal to the BCM. If the BCM receives an error signal of the LED headlight (right) high beam, the DTC is set.
2. Condition for setting DTC C1728[96]
Condition for running the DTC
- The BCM commands the headlight (right) high beam ON.
Condition for setting the DTC
- The BCM receives an error signal of the LED headlight (right) high beam for 2 seconds or more.
3. Action taken when DTC C1728[96] sets
- The LED headlight warning light illuminates.
- For models with MID, RH Headlight failure is displayed.
- The output of the LED headlight (right) high beam is stopped.
- Current and past failures are set.
