DTC U1855[86] Lost Communication With Instrument Panel Cluster (BCM)

1. DTC U1855[86] description

The BCM communicates the control information with the instrument panel cluster via the CAN communication circuit. If the BCM cannot receive the control information sent from the instrument panel cluster, the DTC is set.

2. Condition for setting DTC U1855[86]

Condition for running the DTC

  • The ignition switch is ON.

Condition for setting the DTC

  • The BCM detects that the control information sent from the instrument panel cluster cannot be received for 3 seconds or more.

3. Action taken when DTC U1855[86] sets

  • Current and past failures are set.
