1. DTC C0023[11] description
When the stop light switch signal is input, the BCM controls the stop light output circuit and illuminates the stop light. If the BCM detects a malfunction in the stop light (right) or stop light (left) output circuit, the DTC is set.
2. Condition for setting DTC C0023[11]
Condition for running the DTC
- The BCM commands the stop light ON.
Condition for setting the DTC
Any of the following conditions are met:
- The BCM detects a short to ground in the stop light (right) output circuit for 2.5 seconds or more.
- The BCM detects an overloading to the stop light (right) output circuit for 2 seconds or more.
- The BCM detects a short to ground in the stop light (left) output circuit for 2.5 seconds or more.
- The BCM detects an overloading to the stop light (left) output circuit for 2 seconds or more.
3. Action taken when DTC C0023[11] sets
- When there is a malfunction in the stop light (right) output circuit, the output of the stop light (right) is stopped until the next command is given.
- When there is a malfunction in the stop light (left) output circuit, the output of the stop light (left) is stopped until the next command is given.
- Current and past failures are set.
