DTC P1A01[7E] Upper Relay Circuit (ON Error) (Differential Lock)

1. DTC P1A01[7E] description

This diagnosis is applied to the rear differential lock control unit internal relay circuit malfunction.
The rear differential lock control unit monitors the internal relay circuit. If the rear differential lock control unit detects a malfunction in the internal relay circuit, the DTC is set. This DTC runs only once per driving cycle within the enabling conditions.

2. Condition for setting DTC P1A01[7E]

Condition for running the DTC

  • The ignition switch is ON.

Condition for setting the DTC

  • The rear differential lock control unit detects a malfunction in the internal relay (upstream side).

3. Action taken when DTC P1A01[7E] sets

  • The rear differential lock control unit turns ON the rear differential lock failure warning light.
  • The rear differential lock control unit stops controlling the differential lock control.
