1. DTC U0055[88] description
ECUs, such as the EHCU, communicate the control information and diagnosis information via the CAN communication circuit. The EHCU monitors the CAN operational status by expecting a constant message flow from each module. When the EHCU detects a CAN Bus OFF status, this DTC is set.
2. Condition for setting DTC U0055[88]
Condition for running the DTC
- The ignition switch is ON.
- The EHCU ignition power supply voltage is 10 to 16 V.
Condition for setting the DTC
- The EHCU detects a CAN Bus OFF status.
3. Action taken when DTC U0055[88] sets
- ABS warning light illumination
- ESC warning light illumination (Models equipped with ESC)
- ABS control inhibition
- TCS control inhibition (Models equipped with ESC)
- If a malfunction occurs during the EBD control, the control is continued. However, the control is inhibited except during the EBD control.
- ESC control inhibition (Models equipped with ESC)
- HSA control inhibition (Models with ESC)
- ISS control inhibition (Models with ESC)
