1. DTC C1130[A1] description
The torque sensor detects the steering force and steering direction of the steering wheel. The EPS motor control unit controls the electric power steering system based on the signals input from the torque sensors. If the EPS motor control unit detects a malfunction in the torque sensor, the DTC is set.
2. Condition for setting DTC C1130[A1]
Condition for running the DTC
- The ignition switch is ON.
Condition for setting the DTC
Any of the following conditions are met:
- The EPS motor control unit detects a power supply voltage malfunction in the torque sensor.
- The EPS motor control unit detects a signal voltage malfunction in the torque sensor.
- The EPS motor control unit detects a correlation error in the signals from torque sensor 1 and torque sensor 2.
3. Action taken when DTC C1130[A1] sets
- The steering system failure warning light illuminates.
- The electric power steering assist control is stopped.
- The lane departure prevention is deactivated.
- The lane keep assist is deactivated.
- The emergency lane keeping is deactivated.
