DTC C108B[42] Parking Aid ECU Internal Failure - Memory Failure (Parking Aid)

1. DTC C108B[42] description

This diagnosis is performed for the internal CPU of the parking aid system control unit.

2. Condition for setting DTC C108B[42]

Condition for running the DTC

  • The ignition switch is ON.

Condition for setting the DTC

Any of the following conditions are met:

  • The parking aid system control unit detects that the EEPROM data cannot be read by the CPU.
  • The parking aid system control unit detects a ROM or RAM malfunction of the CPU.

3. Action taken when DTC C108B[42] sets

  • The obstacle detection function is deactivated.
  • The master warning light illuminates.
  • The parking aid system OFF indicator light illuminates.
  • Sonar failure is displayed on the multi-information display.
  • Current and past failures are set.
