DTC U0055[88] Chassis CAN bus Off (Radar Sensor (Left))

1. DTC U0055[88] description

The radar sensor (Left) communicates the control information with each control unit and instrument panel cluster via the Chassis CAN communication circuit. If the radar sensor (Left) detects any failure in the Chassis CAN communication circuit, the DTC is set.

2. Condition for setting DTC U0055[88]

Condition for running the DTC

  • The ignition voltage is 10.0 to 16.0 V.
  • 5 seconds or more have passed with the ignition switch ON.

Condition for setting the DTC

  • The radar sensor (Left) detects a Bus OFF status in the Chassis CAN communication circuit.

3. Action taken when DTC U0055[88] sets

  • The BSM OFF indicator light illuminates.
  • The master warning indicator light illuminates.
  • The Radar failure is displayed on the multi-information display.
  • All of the functions are deactivated.
