DTC U0401[00] ECM Signal Invalid (Radar Sensor (Left))

1. DTC U0401[00] description

The radar sensor (Left) receives the control information from the ECM via the Chassis CAN communication circuit, central gateway control unit, and Powertrain CAN communication circuit. If the radar sensor (Left) detects an error in the data received from the ECM, the DTC is set.

2. Condition for setting DTC U0401[00]

Condition for running the DTC

  • The ignition voltage is 10.0 to 16.0 V.
  • 5 seconds or more have passed with the ignition switch ON.
  • DTC U0100[00] is not set.

Condition for setting the DTC

  • The radar sensor (Left) detects an error in the data received from the ECM.

3. Action taken when DTC U0401[00] sets

  • The BSM OFF indicator light illuminates.
  • All of the functions are deactivated.
