DTC C1106[99] Auto Alignment Exceeded (Radar Sensor (Left))

1. DTC C1106[99] description

In order to perform a detection of a vehicle behind accurately, the radar sensor (Left) has an auto alignment function that automatically corrects if an axial shifting in the lateral direction is detected within a range of ±7.4°. If the radar sensor (Left) detects that the axial shifting in the lateral direction of the radar sensor (Left) is ±7.4° or more, the DTC is set.

2. Condition for setting DTC C1106[99]

Condition for running the DTC

  • The ignition voltage is 10.0 to 16.0 V.
  • 5 seconds or more have passed with the ignition switch ON.

Condition for setting the DTC

  • The radar sensor (Left) detects that the axial shifting in the lateral direction is ±7.4° or more.

3. Action taken when DTC C1106[99] sets

  • The BSM OFF indicator light illuminates.
  • The master warning indicator light illuminates.
  • The Radar failure is displayed on the multi-information display.
  • All of the functions are deactivated.
