DTC C1106[4B] Overtemperature (Radar Sensor (Right))

1. DTC C1106[4B] description

If the temperature inside or around the radar sensor (Right) becomes high or low, the radar sensor (Right) function is stopped to prevent damage from abnormal temperatures.

2. Condition for setting DTC C1106[4B]

Condition for running the DTC

  • The ignition voltage is 10.0 to 16.0 V.
  • 5 seconds or more have passed with the ignition switch ON.

Condition for setting the DTC

  • It is detected that the internal temperature of the radar sensor (Right) is 112°C {234°F} or more or -40°C {-40°F} or less.

3. Action taken when DTC C1106[4B] sets

  • The BSM OFF indicator light illuminates.
  • The Radar unavailable is displayed on the multi-information display.
  • All of the functions are deactivated.
