Diagnostic system check-radar sensor system (Radar Sensor (Right))

1. Scan tool power-up check

1) Connect the scan tool.

2) Power up the scan tool. Does the scan tool power up?

Yes

=>Go to Radar sensor (Right) communication verification.

No

Go to Scan tool does not power up.

Refer to "51.Engine Control 1A.Troubleshooting(4JJ3 with DPD) Scan tool does not power up".

Refer to "51.Engine Control 1A.Troubleshooting(4JJ3 without DPD) Scan tool does not power up".

Refer to "51.Engine Control 1A.Troubleshooting(RZ4E-TC) Scan tool does not power up".

2. Radar sensor (Right) communication verification

1) Turn ON the ignition switch.

2) Verify that communication can be established with the radar sensor (Right) using the scan tool. Can communication with the radar sensor (Right) be established?

Yes

=>Go to BSM OFF indicator light illumination check.

No

Go to Lost communication with radar sensor.

Refer to "75.Driver Assistance System 10W.Troubleshooting(Radar Sensor (Right)) Lost communication with radar sensor".

3. Current DTC check

1) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool. Is a DTC set?

Yes

Go to the applicable DTC diagnosis.

No

=>Go to BSM OFF indicator light illumination check.

4. BSM OFF indicator light illumination check

1) Turn OFF the ignition switch for 30 seconds or more.

2) Disconnect the scan tool.

3) Turn ON the ignition switch.

4) Check the BSM OFF indicator light. Does the BSM OFF indicator light illuminate for approximately 3 seconds and then turn OFF?

Yes

Go to Intermittent conditions of radar sensor system.

Refer to "233.Driver Assistance System 46D.Symptom(Radar Sensor) intermittent conditions of radar sensor system".

No (Does not illuminate)

Go to BSM OFF indicator light illuminating circuit system check.

Refer to "75.Driver Assistance System 10W.Troubleshooting(Radar Sensor (Left)) BSM OFF indicator light illuminating circuit system check".

No (Remains ON)

=>Go to Current DTC check.
