DTC U0028[88] Vehicle CAN Circuit Malfunction (Stereo Camera)

1. DTC U0028[88] description

The stereo camera communicates the control information with other control units and the instrument panel cluster via the CAN communication circuit. If the stereo camera detects a malfunction in the CAN communication circuit, the DTC is set.

2. Condition for setting DTC U0028[88]

Condition for running the DTC

  • The ignition switch is ON.

Condition for setting the DTC

  • The stereo camera detects a Bus OFF status in the CAN communication circuit.

3. Action taken when DTC U0028[88] sets

  • The master warning light illuminates.
  • The AEB OFF indicator light illuminates.
  • The LDW OFF indicator light illuminates.
  • The ELK OFF indicator light illuminates.
  • Front camera malfunction service required is displayed on the multi-information display.
  • All of the stereo camera functions are deactivated.
  • CAN communication-related DTC diagnosis is inhibited.
