DTC C1725[96] Rear Left Turn Signal Light Output Circuit Component Internal Failure (BCM)

1. DTC C1725[96] description

The BCM outputs the illumination signal of each rear light to the trailer side via the trailer socket middle connector. Also, the BCM determines whether the trailer is connected or not based on the trailer detection signal input from the trailer side via the trailer socket middle connector. If the BCM receives an error signal from the trailer side via the feedback circuit when it detects that the trailer is connected, the DTC is set.

2. Condition for setting DTC C1725[96]

Condition for running the DTC

  • The BCM detects that the trailer is connected.

Condition for setting the DTC

  • BCM receives an error signal from the trailer side for 2 seconds or more via the trailer module feedback signal (left) circuit.

3. Action taken when DTC C1725[96] sets

  • Current and past failures are set.
