DTC U0181[00] Lost Communication With Head Light Auto Leveling (Information Module)

1. DTC U0181[00] description

The information module and the headlight auto leveling control unit communicate information with each other using the CAN bus. The information module determines whether CAN messages are constantly flowing from the headlight auto leveling control unit. If the information module cannot receive CAN messages from the headlight auto leveling control unit, the DTC is set.

2. Condition for setting DTC U0181[00]

Condition for running the DTC

  • The ignition switch is ON.
  • The ignition voltage is 10 V or more.

Condition for setting the DTC

  • The information module detects that CAN messages from the headlight auto leveling control unit are not received for 5 seconds or more.
