DTC P2227 Barometric Pressure Circuit Range/Performance (4JJ3 without DPD)

1. DTC P2227 description

The barometric pressure sensor is installed within the ECM. The barometric pressure sensor changes the signal voltage in accordance with changes in the barometric pressure. The boost pressure sensor is installed to the intake duct. The boost pressure sensor changes the signal voltage in accordance with changes in air pressure in the air intake piping. Diagnosis is performed inside the ECM by comparing the barometric pressure sensor signal with the boost pressure sensor signal. If the ECM detects that both signals are not within the specified range, the DTC is set.
