DTC P064D Lambda Sensor Control IC Error (4JJ3 with DPD)

1. DTC P064D description

This diagnosis applies to the microprocessor inside the ECM.

2. Condition for setting DTC P064D

Condition for running the DTC

  • The ignition switch is ON.
  • DTCs P0130, P0560, and P0606 are not set.

Condition for setting the DTC

  • The ECM detects a malfunction in the heated oxygen sensor control IC.

3. Action taken when DTC P064D sets

  • The ECM illuminates the MIL. Refer to Action taken when DTC sets - Type A.

  • The ECM inhibits the EGR control.
  • The ECM assumes a default heated oxygen sensor value.

4. Condition for clearing DTC P064D

  • Refer to Conditions for clearing the MIL/DTC - Type A or Type B.
