DTC P0830[13] Clutch Switch Circuit Open (Wireless Access Module (Hi-version [Passive Entry and Start System]))

1. DTC P0830[13] description

The wireless access module monitors the operation status of the clutch switch. For models equipped with manual transmissions, the clutch switch signal input is used for engine start-up control. If the wireless access module detects that the clutch switch is OFF continuously, the DTC is set.

Note

  • Although this DTC is set, the engine can be started using emergency starting.

2. Condition for setting DTC P0830[13]

  • The wireless access module detects that the clutch pedal is depressed (the clutch switch is OFF) continuously for 15 minutes.

3. Action taken when DTC P0830[13] sets

When the engine start/stop button is pressed:

  • The key monitor warning light illuminates for 10 seconds.
  • CHECK SYSTEM will be displayed on the multi-information display for 10 seconds.
  • The buzzer built into the instrument panel cluster will sound 3 times.

When the power mode is ON:

  • The key monitor warning light illuminates.

When door locking/unlocking is requested:

  • The key monitor warning light illuminates for 10 seconds.
  • CHECK SYSTEM will be displayed on the multi-information display for 10 seconds.
  • The external buzzer will sound for 3 seconds.
