DTC B1035[49] Immobilizer IC Internal Circuit Failure (Wireless Access Module (Mid-version/Lo-version [Except Passive Entry and Start System]))

1. DTC B1035[49] description

When the ignition switch is turned ON, the wireless access module starts authentication with the transponder built into the keyless entry key or transponder key via the immobilizer coil. When the wireless access module transmits a signal, the transponder must send back a specific response signal. If the wireless access module fails to communicate with the internal immobilizer IC when it starts the authentication, the DTC is set.

2. Condition for setting DTC B1035[49]

Condition for running the DTC

  • Models with immobilizer function
  • The ignition switch is ON.

Condition for setting the DTC

  • The wireless access module detects a communication failure with the internal immobilizer IC.

3. Action taken when DTC B1035[49] sets

  • If this DTC is set before the engine is started, the engine cannot be started.

When the ignition switch is ON:

  • The key monitor warning light illuminates.
  • CHECK SYSTEM is displayed on the multi-information display for 10 seconds (models with MID only).

When door locking/unlocking is requested:

  • CHECK SYSTEM is displayed on the multi-information display for 10 seconds (models with MID only).
