DTC U0100[00] Lost Communication With ECM (Information Module)

1. DTC U0100[00] description

The information module and the ECM communicate information with each other using the CAN bus. The information module determines whether the CAN messages are constantly flowing from the ECM. The information module sets the DTC if CAN messages from the ECM are not received.

2. Condition for setting DTC U0100[00]

Condition for running the DTC

  • The ignition switch is ON.
  • The ignition voltage is 10 V or more.

Condition for setting the DTC

  • The information module detects that CAN messages from the ECM are not received for 5 seconds or more.
