DTC B130D[07] Cut Off Switch Malfunction (Air Bag (Driver/Passenger/Side/Roof/Knee/Far Side))

1. DTC B130D[07] DTC description

The passenger side SRS airbag cut off switch is installed to the inner side of the glove box, and it is used to select the deployment permission or deployment inhibition for the passenger airbag and passenger side airbag. Based on the ON or OFF signal from the passenger side SRS airbag cut off switch, the SRS control unit illuminates the passenger side SRS airbag OFF indicator light or passenger side SRS airbag ON indicator light. If the SRS control unit detects a malfunction in the passenger side SRS airbag cut off switch signal circuit, the DTC is set.

2. Condition for setting DTC B130D[07]

The SRS control unit detects a malfunction in the passenger side SRS airbag cut off switch (+) input circuit or passenger side SRS airbag cut off switch (-) input circuit.

3. Action taken when DTC B130D[07] sets

SRS airbag warning light illuminates.
Regardless of whether the passenger side SRS airbag cut off switch is ON or OFF, the SRS control unit permits the passenger airbag and passenger side airbag to deploy.
