DTC B1E07[06] Unregistered Transponder Key Detection (Wireless Access Module (Hi-version [Passive Entry and Start System]))

1. Wireless access module system check

Refer to "71.Security and Locks Control 10S.Troubleshooting(Wireless Access Module (Hi-version [Passive Entry and Start System])) Diagnostic system check-Wireless Access Module (Hi-version[Passive Entry and Start System])".

2. Electronic key ID programming

1) Perform programming of the electronic key ID in the wireless access module.

Refer to "9.Body, Cab, Accessories 9J.Security and Locks Electronic key setting".

Procedure completion

=>Go to Current DTC check.

3. Current DTC check

1) Clear the DTC with a scan tool.

2) Turn OFF the ignition switch.

3) Remove the battery from the electronic key.

Note

  • If the wireless access module detects a known good electronic key, this DTC diagnosis will not begin.

4) Start the engine with all electronic keys.

5) If an electronic key cannot start the engine, replace the applicable key.

Note

  • After an electronic key is replaced, perform the Erase Electronic KEY and then perform programming.

Refer to "9.Body, Cab, Accessories 9J.Security and Locks Electronic key setting".

Procedure completion

=>Go to Repair verification.

4. Repair verification

1) Clear the DTC with a scan tool.

2) Turn OFF the ignition switch.

3) Remove the battery from the electronic key.

Note

  • If the wireless access module detects a known good electronic key, this DTC diagnosis will not begin.

4) Start the engine with all electronic keys.

5) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool.
