1. DTC B130C[07] DTC description
The passenger side SRS airbag indicator is installed in the center console. The passenger side SRS airbag indicator informs the driver of the deployment permission or deployment inhibition for the passenger airbag when turning ON or OFF the passenger side SRS airbag cut off switch. If the SRS control unit detects an abnormal voltage in the passenger side SRS airbag ON indicator light control circuit or passenger side SRS airbag OFF indicator light control circuit, the DTC is set.
2. Condition for setting DTC B130C[07]
- The SRS control unit detects an abnormal voltage in the passenger side SRS airbag ON indicator light control circuit or passenger side SRS airbag OFF indicator light control circuit.
3. Action taken when DTC B130C[07] sets
- SRS airbag warning light illuminates.
- If an abnormal voltage of the passenger side SRS airbag ON indicator light control circuit is detected, the passenger side SRS airbag ON indicator light illumination control is tuned OFF within 1 second.
- If an abnormal voltage of the passenger side SRS airbag OFF indicator light control circuit is detected, the passenger side SRS airbag OFF indicator light illumination control is tuned OFF within 1 second.
Warning
- During the maintenance work, do not hit or shake the SRS control unit when handling it.
- If the SRS control unit is not properly installed, the SRS control unit may cause malfunctions. This may result in deployment of the SRS airbag and personal injury.
Caution
- To prevent the SRS parts to be replaced from malfunctioning and generating a battery short circuit, make sure to disconnect the battery cable before replacing the parts.
