DTC P009B Common Rail Pressure Relief Valve Drive Circuit (4JJ3 with DPD)

1. DTC P009B description

The ECM monitors the pressure difference between the actual fuel rail pressure and the desired fuel rail pressure. If the pressure difference exceeds the predetermined value, the ECM opens the FRP reduction valve to adjust the fuel rail pressure. If the ECM detects a malfunction in the FRP reduction valve circuit, the DTC is set.
