DTC U100A[00] Lost Communication With Diff Lock ECU (Information Module)

1. DTC U100A[00] description

The information module and the rear differential lock control unit communicate information with each other using the CAN bus. The information module determines whether CAN messages are constantly flowing from the rear differential lock control unit. If the information module cannot receive CAN messages from the rear differential lock control unit, the DTC is set.

2. Condition for setting DTC U100A[00]

Condition for running the DTC

  • The ignition switch is ON.
  • The ignition voltage is 10 V or more.

Condition for setting the DTC

  • The information module detects that CAN messages from the rear differential lock control unit are not received for 5 seconds or more.
