DTC B1035[49] Immobilizer IC Internal Circuit Failure (Wireless Access Module (Hi-version [Passive Entry and Start System]))

1. DTC B1035[49] description

The immobilizer coil is built into the engine start/stop button. When the engine start/stop button is pressed, the immobilizer coil is energized through the wireless access module, and the immobilizer authentication is performed by placing the electronic key close to the engine start/stop button. If the wireless access module detects a communication failure with the internal immobilizer IC when it starts the authentication, the DTC is set.

2. Condition for setting DTC B1035[49]

  • The wireless access module detects a communication failure with the internal immobilizer IC.

3. Action taken when DTC B1035[49] sets

When the engine start/stop button is pressed:

  • The key monitor warning light illuminates for 10 seconds.
  • The engine start/stop button indicator light (amber) flashes for 10 seconds.
  • CHECK SYSTEM will be displayed on the multi-information display for 10 seconds.
  • The buzzer built into the instrument panel cluster will sound 3 times.

When the power mode is ON and there is a current failure:

  • The key monitor warning light illuminates.

When door locking/unlocking is requested:

  • The key monitor warning light illuminates for 10 seconds.
  • The engine start/stop button indicator light (amber) flashes for 10 seconds.
  • CHECK SYSTEM will be displayed on the multi-information display for 10 seconds.
  • The external buzzer will sound for 3 seconds.
