DTC B110E[15] TEL Antenna Connection Malfunction (Power Supply Short Error) (eCall unit)

1. DTC B110E[15] description

The GNSS antenna and TEL antenna are integrated into an antenna, and the antenna is installed in the center of the instrument panel. The GNSS antenna receives GNSS signals, and the TEL antenna transmits emergency calls to the emergency call center when the emergency call system is activated. If the eCall unit detects a malfunction in the TEL antenna circuit, the DTC is set.

2. Condition for setting DTC B110E[15]

Condition for running the DTC

  • The ignition switch is ON.

Condition for setting the DTC

  • The eCall unit detects an open or a short to the power supply in the TEL antenna circuit.

3. Action taken when DTC B110E[11] sets

  • The indicator light (red) illuminates.
  • An alarm sounds from the speaker.
  • Current and past failures are set.
