DTC B1320[1F] SOS button Connection Malfunction (eCall unit)

1. DTC B1320[1F] description

The SOS button is integrated with the indicator light and is installed to the overhead console. The emergency call system is activated automatically only when the airbag is deployed. In an emergency such as a traffic accident and sudden illness, the emergency call system can be activated manually by pressing the SOS button for 1 second or more. If the eCall unit detects a malfunction in the SOS button signal circuit, the DTC is set.

2. Condition for setting DTC B1320[1F]

Condition for running the DTC

  • The ignition switch is ON.

Condition for setting the DTC

  • The eCall unit detects an open circuit or a short to the power supply in the SOS button signal circuit.

3. Action taken when DTC B1320[1F] sets

  • The indicator light (red) illuminates.
  • An alarm sounds from the speaker.
  • Current and past failures are set.
