DTC U1800[86] Lost Communication With ECM (BCM)

1. DTC U1800[86] description

The BCM communicates the control information with the ECM via the CAN communication circuit. If the BCM cannot receive the control information sent from the ECM, the DTC is set.

2. Condition for setting DTC U1800[86]

Condition for running the DTC

  • The ignition switch is ON.

Condition for setting the DTC

  • The BCM detects that the control information sent from the ECM cannot be received for 3 seconds or more.

3. Action taken when DTC U1800[86] sets

  • Current and past failures are set.
