DTC U1801[86] Lost Communication With TCM (BCM)

1. DTC U1801[86] description

The BCM communicates the control information with the TCM via the CAN communication circuit. If the BCM cannot receive the control information sent from the TCM, the DTC is set.

2. Condition for setting DTC U1801[86]

Condition for running the DTC

  • The ignition switch is ON.

Condition for setting the DTC

  • The BCM detects that the control information sent from the TCM cannot be received for 3 seconds or more.

3. Action taken when DTC U1801[86] sets

  • Current and past failures are set.
