DTC P1A04[46] EEPROM Error (Differential Lock)

1. DTC P1A04[46] description

This diagnosis is applied to the EEPROM inside the rear differential lock control unit. This DTC runs only once per driving cycle within the enabling conditions.

2. Condition for setting DTC P1A04[46]

Condition for running the DTC

  • The ignition switch is ON.

Condition for setting the DTC

  • The rear differential lock control unit detects an EEPROM malfunction.

3. Action taken when DTC P1A04[46] sets

  • The rear differential lock control unit turns ON the rear differential lock failure warning light.
