DTC U0431[00] Communication Failure With BCM (Parking Aid)

1. DTC U0431[00] description

The parking aid system control unit communicates the control information with the BCM via the CAN communication circuit. If the parking aid system control unit detects an error in the data received from the BCM, the DTC is set.

2. Condition for setting DTC U0431[00]

Condition for running the DTC

  • The ignition switch is ON.

Condition for setting the DTC

  • The parking aid system control unit detects an error in the data received from the BCM.

3. Action taken when DTC U0431[00] sets

  • The obstacle detection function is deactivated.
  • The master warning light illuminates.
  • The parking aid system OFF indicator light illuminates.
  • Current and past failures are set.
