DTC B1101[53] AEBS Frequent Occurrence (Stereo Camera)

1. DTC B1101[53] description

The stereo camera measures the distance from an obstacle detected ahead and their relative speed based on the images obtained from the right and left cameras. Also, it recognizes an object and specifies the white line position on the lane. When the vehicle approaches the vehicle ahead or an obstacle that may be collided with, the driver is alerted by an alarm sounded from the instrument panel cluster and indication on the multi-information display. If there is no preventive operation, the AEB is activated. If the stereo camera detects that the AEB is activated 3 times during 1 ignition cycle, the DTC is set.

  • The AEB OFF indicator light illuminates.
  • The LDW OFF indicator light illuminates.
  • The ELK OFF indicator light illuminates.
  • Front camera unavailable is displayed on the multi-information display.
  • The autonomous emergency braking and pedal misapplication mitigation are deactivated.
  • The lane departure warning and lane departure prevention are deactivated.
  • The lane keep assist system is deactivated.
  • The emergency lane keeping is deactivated.
  • The attention assist and traffic sign recognition are deactivated.
  • The adaptive cruise control and intelligent speed assist are deactivated.
  • The automatic high beam is deactivated.
